After years of it lingering at the edge of my awareness, I was guided to watch/listen to the Broadway musical, "Hadestown," which activated the twin flame/sacred union energy and brought about this special channeling.


In this channeling:

  • What is sacred love and how do we connect with it? How has this sacred love we've experienced along our twin flame ascension journey been part of our story across lifetimes, and what is it activating within us now?  

  • We recap the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice as retold in the modern-day musical, "Hadestown," and how it reflects the twin flame dynamic and the sacred union ascension journey of separation and reunion.

  • Orpheus represents the ungrounded Divine Masculine and Eurydice the wounded Divine Feminine, with their myth symbolizing the spiritual connection between counterparts and the challenges faced along the journey. Eurydice's retreat into the Underworld represents her ascension journey, and Orpheus following her shows not only his love and commitment, but represents the Divine Masculine's own trials and tests to be overcome as part of his ascension.

  • The pivotal moment of Orpheus looking back for Eurydice as they leave the Underworld reflects the challenge of allowing the sacred process to unfold and what it means to have trust and faith in ourselves and each other. When doubt, insecurity, and fear crop up, can you continue to have faith? Can you find that within yourself?
     
  • The sacred love you share has a ripple effect, granting hope to others and lighting the way as you become the embodiment of leading through example. A metaphor of the play resetting for the stories we continue to tell and the cycles that repeat until we break them. 

  • Hades and Persephone as characters in Hadestown are also representative of the twin flame dynamic--what they're showing us about sovereignty and shadow.
